Bono leads supermodels and stars at Leonardo DiCaprio charity bash in France

Bono was the guest of honour at a star-studded fundraiser in the South of France, organised by Leonardo DiCaprio.

The U2 frontman performed a set at the lavish event (without the rest of U2) for last night's inaugural Leonardo DiCaprio Foundation Gala in St. Tropez.

DiCaprio hosted the event, which raises money for environmental causes, alongside his supermodel girlfriend Toni Garn.

New BFFs Selena Gomez, wearing a slinky gold  gown and Cara Delevingne in a monochrome suit were also spotted enjoying the party, alongside Jared Leto, Marion Cotillard and Daisy Lowe.

The A-list crowd are currently on their respective holidays yachting in the South of France, where Bono also has a home.

Before filming his next movie The Revenant, DiCaprio made time for a boys trip to South Beach in Miami for Swimwear Fashion Week.

"It’s Swim Week, so bikini models from all over are in town. It’s just crawling with them," a source told the New York Daily News.

"Leo and his guys came down specially. None of them were filming or in production; there really aren’t too many good reasons to be in Miami in July. They just came to follow the models."
