Blue Ivy celebrated her third birthday better than any of us could have ever imagined.

Her superstar parents Beyonce and Jay-Z spoiled her as expected with a Frozen themed birthday bash, pulling out all the stops with a custom made ice sculpture marking the occasion.

Her mother also posted a photo of the toddler tucking into some rainbow cake, while wearing a princess dress at the bash.

Solange also shared some behind the scenes snaps of her niece's big day, with a sweet caption alongside a photo of the two of them playing.

Beyonce, Jay and Blue have spent the last month travelling the world exploring Iceland, Cambodia and Thailand, where they found themselves in hot water over a photo of the three of them emerged with a tiger cub at a Thai zoo.

A Queen Bey fan site uploaded a picture reportedly of the trio at a zoo feeding a tiger cub, which animal rights groups criticised saying tigers are "not a play thing".

Dr Jan Schmidt-Burbach, a World Animal Protection wildlife expert released a statement online after seeing the photo online.

"A tiger is not a plaything," he said. "Their health and well-being should not be sacrificed for a photo opportunity."
