Blake Lively and Ryan Reynolds spotted on family day out in Dublin: all the exclusive details of their stay
Ryan Reynolds and Blake Lively are enjoying the relative anonymity that comes with a sojourn in Ireland.
They're one of Hollywood's most famous, yet elusive, couples - the type who cherish their privacy over red carpet appearances for brands of vodka. Like Beyoncé riding a Dublin bike and visiting the zoo and Bruce Springsteen drinking pints at the Long Hall before them, they're keeping it low-key in the capital.
The pair were spotted getting a cup of coffee at Bear Market Coffee in Blackrock with their daughters James (two) and Ines (one), looking about as glamorous as you'd expect, with Blake wearing a signature oversized hat, cradling her youngest on her hip.
They were spotted by fashion influencer Rob Kenny, who posted a blink-and-you'll-miss-it picture of them on his Instagram stories this morning. And yes, we're told they are just as beautiful in real life.
Blake (30) and Ryan, who celebrated his 41st birthday earlier this week, are residing in Dublin for the next few weeks while the Gossip Girl star is filming The Rhythm Section in Co Wicklow. Independent.ie Style can reveal that production is taking place at the private country estate Clonwilliam House in Arklow, traditionally used as a one-of-a-kind wedding venue, but will be overtaken for the Hollywood production for a number of scenes this week. We're told producers were particularly impressed with its indoor pool.
The spy thriller is being produced by Michael G. Wilson and Barbara Broccoli of EON Productions, who produced the last eight James Bond movies, while The Handmaid's Tale's Reed Morano is also involved.
The production team eyed up a number of luxury rentals before their big move, but they eventually settled on a plush pad in a Dublin suburb to accommodate their family and "huge entourage". In other good news, the Rhythm Section also stars Jude Law, which means we'll be double celebrity sighting through the autumn.
