Binky Felstead slams Cheryl's ab-baring outfit six months after giving birth: 'It's a bit in your face'
Reality tv star Binky Felstead has hit out at Cheryl's in your face ensemble for her first public appearance since welcoming baby boy Bear in March.
The former Made in Chelsea star (27) welcomed her daughter India in June, but hasn't been in a rush to get her pre-baby body back, saying she's aware of the pressure new mothers feel when they see celebrities who snapped back into shape straight away.
Cheryl made her return to the limelight earlier this month at a charity event raising funds for victims of the Grenfell Tower fire, wearing a white crop top showcasing her six pack and a pair of wide leg trousers by Givenchy. It was a picture perfect return to the glare of the media after taking the last five months off to focus on spending time with her son at the mansion in Surrey she shares with boyfriend Liam Payne.
Prior to that, she was busy sharing pictures on Instagram lounging on a yacht with her other half, clad in a bikini, on holidays in Mallorca.
"It's a bit in your face. Cheryl hasn't been in the public eye since having the baby and so she's looking amazing now. That isn't real life. I was papped breastfeeding with a blanket over me and looking truly exhausted, and that's what mummies want to see - not someone lounging in the sun," Binky told New! magazine.
"But good on her, you can't bash anyone for wanting to get their body back."
She gave her first interview with ITV's This Morning, saying she's had to readjust her beauty routine to cope with the demands of caring for a newborn, without the help of a nanny (although her mother Joan is living with her).
“You don’t always get time to moisturise, when you’ve jumped in the shower quickly while they’re napping, or have a quick bath," she said.
"So my thing would be, go in the bath and put in bath oil in with you so you don’t have to worry about that. You’re moisturised when you come out.
"I use coconut oil from head to toe. Literally, you can eat it, put it on your hair and you can put it on your face, your body. It’s brilliant stuff."
Meanwhile, Payne, who is promoting his new music from his forthcoming album in Toronto, Canada earlier in the week, said he's enjoying being a father to "super happy" Bear. Divulging that the baby will sleep for 11 hours at a time, Liam noted that the baby is now showing signs of music talent like his famous parents.
"He loves singing. He loves being sang (sic) to," he told Entertainment Tonight. "That's what makes him happy and what makes him laugh, so maybe there's a bit of music in him, you know."
