'Babe, what's happening?' - Mila Kunis and Ashton Kutcher respond to divorce report
Ashton Kutcher and Mila Kunis have denied a report they plan to divorce in a playful video.
The couple, who first met as teenagers on That '70s Show before marrying in 2015, shared a video on Instagram in response to a cover story by In Touch Weekly reporting that they split.
In the clip, they exchange banter over the claim, with Kutcher starting, "Babe, what's happening? What's going on?"
"It's over between us," she responded, flashing the magazine cover towards the camera.
"And I took the kids," she adds.
"Oh, you took the kids?" he says, "I don’t get the kids anymore?"
"Well, you had a very dark secret exposed," she explains.
Kutcher asks: "Oh my gosh, what was the dark secret?"
"I don’t know," she says, "I only have this photo."
Kutcher, who stars on Netflix's The Ranch, captioned the video, "I guess it's over @intouchweekly have fun selling magazines this week. Maybe next week my wife will be having twins. For the third time. But who’s counting."
Ashton and Mila are famously private regarding their marriage and their two children Wyatt (four) and Dimitri (two). In recent years, they have been more forthcoming about discussing their marriage and last year she explained that there was no romantic connection between them when they were castmates from 1998 to 2006.
“It’s the weirdest story that nobody believes but it’s the God’s honest truth,” she said. “You know, he and I talk about it and we’re like, ‘God.’”
“Had we connected [in the past] would we have connected? No.
“The people that we were back then would never be together. But it’s just such a bummer that we missed out on 20 years together. I look back and I think, ‘We could have spent 20 years together.'"
