TV presenter Angela Scanlon has welcomed in her first baby with husband Roy, a little girl that she named Ruby Elle Horgan.
The Meath-born star (34) gave birth a week ago, shortly before the arrival of Storm Emma - but opted to keep the news under wraps until this morning.
She opted to break the news with a sweet picture on Instagram of her new arrival's tiny bare feet with the message: "Ruby Ellen Horgan… Born 25.02.18 at 3.29am – she is a dreamboat & we are so happy this little woman is ours. Welcome to the world, peach!"
The same picture featured two teddy bears, one of which had her new baby's name embroidered on it.
The 'One Show' presenter was so neat during her pregnancy, she only announced her happy news when she was six months gone. "We are so, SO thrilled (since I’ve taken my head out of the toilet bowl) and can’t wait to welcome a mad, wonderful little human into our world," she wrote.
The BBC star and stylist got married in June 2014 in an intimate ceremony in Wicklow.
The fashion-forward star opted to wear a custom-designed dress by Offaly designer Sorcha O’Raghallaigh, who has previously created costumes for Lady Gaga.
