Kim Kardashian and Kanye West are reportedly having a baby boy.
The reality TV queen and her rapper husband have been trying to fall pregnant with baby number two for months, and at the end of last month they confirmed she is expecting. The new arrival will be a sibling for their nearly two-year-old daughter North – known as Nori - and it’s now been claimed the tot is a boy.
“Kanye loves Nori more than anything, but to make his world complete he wanted a little boy, an heir," a source told Us Weekly, which claims to have confirmed the news with several insiders. “He's overjoyed!"
Kim is also said to be thrilled as it is apparently her dream to have two children, one of each sex. She is said to be fully embracing being a mother to a little boy, and she has already been spotted looking at clothes for her son in a boutique in New York City.
It’s been speculated that Kim and Kanye considered using IVF during their fertility struggle, which was documented on her family’s reality show Keeping Up with the Kardashians.
The 34-year-old star reportedly got “very down” about things for a while and was concerned that she might never have another baby.
“I'm so grateful to be pregnant when we didn’t even think it was going to happen,” she later said.
Neither of the stars have confirmed how far along Kim is, with an insider suggested to Us Weekly that she is already in her second trimester. It is known that she has been struggling with morning sickness though, as she previously admitted she’d been feeling so unwell it had been a struggle to get out of bed in the mornings.
They may be unlikely friends but Cher and Kim Kardashian have reportedly become very close throughout the last few weeks as the singer has been offering Kim advice about helping her stepdad Bruce Jenner through his transition.
