A royal romantic: Prince Harry 'never fell out of love' with ex Chelsy Davy
Prince Harry’s heart still belongs to Chelsy Davy, according to reports.
The British royal dated the Zimbabwean beauty on and off from 2004 until 2010. Despite having a two-year relationship with Cressida Bonas until April last year, sources claim the Prince has always hoped to reunite with Chelsy.
“Harry still holds a candle for her. Chelsy has his heart,” the insider told British newspaper The Sun. “They saw each other recently. There’s still very much something between them, but Chelsy won’t commit yet because she doesn’t want to lead a life in the spotlight. Harry’s very sensitive to that.”
The former couple are believed to have met up while the 30-year-old was in Africa recently working on conservation projects. But it seems Chelsy’s struggle to deal with the attention that comes with dating the royal is still keeping them apart.
However Harry is planning to return to South Africa and Lesotho in November and reportedly hopes to spend more time with his former flame to try and convince her to change her mind.
“It’s no coincidence that Harry decided to spend more time in Africa later this year,” the source continued. “He has never fallen out of love with Chelsy. She’s not like other girls; she’s strong, independent and a rule-breaker. She does everything on her own terms.”
While Harry has remained single since his split with Cressida, he admitted earlier this year that he would like to give up his bachelor life one day.
“I don’t think you can force these things, it will happen when it’s going to happen,” he said. “Of course, I would love to have kids right now, but there’s a process that one has to go through.”
