The Xposé host has mere weeks left before her due date and is soon to take her maternity leave, but before she puts her feet up she has some work duties to attend to.
Like fellow TV3 hosts including Peter O'Riordan, Lucy Kennedy and Colette Fitzpatrick, the bubby blond took to social media to share her 'Kiss 4 Crumlin' effort.
The #Kiss4Crumlin campaign encourages people to take a video or picture of themselves kissing someone or something close to their heart and post it in order to raise maximise awareness about the good work done by Our Lady’s Children’s Hospital, Crumlin.
TV3 and its official charity, The Children’s Medical & Research Foundation (CMRF), launched the campaign yesterday, and well known faces such as Love/Hate's Laurence Kinlan and Peter Coonan as well as Jedward, Sharon Corr and Keith Duffy have already got on board.
Karen (33) recently told The Herald that she plans to take up to six months off from her presenting duties once the baby arrives.
The Dublin native, who has been one of the faces of Xposé since its launch in April 2007, has revealed that she and John have picked out both male and female baby names as they intend on keeping the sex a surprise.
