Miaow! Katy Perry hits back at Taylor Swift with ‘Mean Girls’ Twitter jab

The cryptic feud between the pop stars intensifies.

Singer Katy Perry took to Twitter this morning to warn her 56 million followers about an unknown person.

It is believed that the vague reference could be in relation to Taylor Swift’s recent Rolling Stone interview, in which the country star talked about another female artists whom she claims were horrible to her.

In the interview, Taylor says that her new single ‘Bad Blood’ is about another celebrity who tried to sabotage her music tour by stealing her staff.

It didn’t take long for people to make a link to Katy poaching three of Taylor’s back up dancers for her Prismatic world tour…. when they were half way through Taylor’s tour.

Taylor (24) spoke directly about Katy (29) in the interview, saying, “For years, I was never sure if we were friends or not. She would come up to me at awards shows and say something and walk away, and I would think, 'Are we friends, or did she just give me the harshest insult of my life?"

Taylor added, "She did something so horrible. I was like, 'Oh, we're just straight-up enemies.' And it wasn't even about a guy! It had to do with business.”

"She basically tried to sabotage an entire arena tour. She tried to hire a bunch of people out from under me.

"And I'm surprisingly non-confrontational – you would not believe how much I hate conflict. So now I have to avoid her. It's awkward, and I don't like it."

The two starlets were both also romantically linked to musician John Mayer.

Does the Regina George quip, a character who appeared wholesome and sweet but who had ulterior motives, refer to Taylor?

Perhaps this is just the tip of the ice-berg.
