Even Jane Seymour is rankled by the cost-of-living crisis in this country. The one-time highest-paid female actor on television — owing to a lengthy tenure in 1990s’ saga Dr Quinn, Medicine Woman — rented a five-bedroom property in the South Dublin seaside enclave of Dalkey for a couple of months last year. She was there to shoot new Irish detective series, Harry Wild. With a second season greenlit, Seymour will soon be returning to the capital, though she’s now questioning overall affordability.
