George Clooney confirmed by ancient formula as the world's most handsome man - with Bradley Cooper and Brad Pitt close behind
George Clooney has officially been confirmed as the world's most handsome man by an ancient formula.
Silver fox Clooney was found to have almost perfect dimensions based on the 'Golden Ratio', a mathematical formula of beauty dating back to the Ancient Greeks.
The 2,500 year old formula, which analyses measurements of the face, found that 91.86pc of Clooney's measurements were perfect.
According to Mail Online, a Harley Street plastic surgeon used a computer programme to analyse actors' faces, with Clooney scoring the closest to 100pc.
Bradley Cooper came close behind with a score of 91.8pc, while Brad Pitt scored 90.51pc. One Direction heart throb Harry Styles reached a score of 89.63pc, with David Beckham following behind at 88.96pc.
Ryan Gosling was found to have the perfect nose, with Beckham having the most perfectly shaped face.
Dr De Silva, who runs The Centre For Advanced Facial Cosmetic And Plastic Surgery in London, said: "George Clooney has been feted as the world's most beautiful man for decades - and it is great that his status has now been proved by science.
"The Phi ratio of 1.618 has long been thought to hold the secret of beauty, and now with the computer mapping we can calculate exactly how it applies to men."
