Victoria and David Beckham’s eldest boy Brooklyn has given a glimpse into their post-Christmas getaway.

The family rang in the New Year in a tropical location, believed to be the Maldives.

Brooklyn, recently linked to actress Chloe Moretz, took to Instagram to upload some poignant family moments.

In one image, Brooklyn (15) is seen gazing into the sunset with his arm draped around his little brother Romeo (12).

It appears that the Beckham boys were gifted a selfie stick for Christmas - the pervasive gadget that has further intensified the selfie craze.

The getaway comes just weeks after a carcrash involving David and Brooklyn left them "shaken and sore",

In early December, the 39-year-old soccer star was driving his Audi RS6 with Brooklyn in the passenger seat when another vehicle collided with them.

Luckily, there were no serious injuries.

The family have since returned home from their winter break, with Victoria tweeting that she is headed back to the office.

The 40-year-old mum of four had a stellar year in 2014, as her status as a fashion designer was solidified.

The former Spice Girl saw sales of her business hit €38 million - almost double the previous year's sales figures of €20 million.
