Miriam O'Callaghan took on the role of mother of the bride on Saturday as her daughter Alannah tied the knot.
The eldest of her eight children was the first to marry when the former model (30) wed former Galway footballer Fiachra Breathnach in Kerry on Saturday afternoon.
The entire clan headed down to the Kingdom during the week to help barrister Alannah celebrate her big day in Kenmare.
Miriam's late dad, Jerry, was from Callaghan's Cross, near Castleisland, and the family have their holiday in the county every year.
Alannah's excited sisters Jessica, Georgia and Clara helped her get ready for the ceremony after they booked into one of the country's top hotels on Thursday.
They were even joined by the family pet, a white Samoyed dog named Chance.
Miriam revealed that she will be departing from tradition and won't be wearing any fussy headpieces or formal ensembles.
"I'm going to be wearing a long, red dress for the mother of the bride," she said.
"I've no hat or headpiece. I'm not the type of person to wear a headpiece."
The excitement has been building in Miriam's southside home over the past few weeks, with the Prime Time star leaving the Iftas early last month to go to Alannah's city centre hen party.
They were joined by Miriam's own mum, also called Miriam, and a big group of family and friends.
The bash came a few weeks after they went to Las Vegas for a pre-hen party where they went to a Celine Dion concert.
It's not the only celebrity wedding happening this weekend.
RTE radio presenter Lottie Ryan will marry actor Fabio Aprile today.
The couple have flown to Italy for their big day and will be joined by 40 guests following their civil wedding at a register office in March.
Also today, Kate Middleton's sister Pippa will walk down the aisle when she marries James Matthews, a brother of reality star Spencer Matthews.
However, Irish model Vogue Williams, who is dating Spencer, will not be attending the ceremony - she will instead be doing a job for Arnotts this afternoon.
She could so easily have celebrated the imminent release of her sublime new album - Life Love Flesh Blood, produced by T Bone Burnett - with a big boom-boom of a bash. Instead the incomparable Imelda May had a little birthday party for her mother Madge last Wednesday evening in The Westbury.
