Cat Deeley throws first pitch at baseball game with Irish hubby Patrick Kielty

Just your average Sunday: Cat Deeley was giving the honour of throwing out the ceremonial first pitch prior to a baseball game between the Los Angeles Dodgers and the St. Louis Cardinals yesterday.

The 37-year-old tv host took to Instagram to share her excitement, posting videos and snapshots of her big moment.

She also thanked Dodger’s catcher Drew Butera for his “tips” via her Twitter account.

Also enjoying the sunshine in the Dodgers stadium yesterday was her Irish husband Patrick Kielty and their friend the British stylist and DJ Nikki Penni.

Cat and funnyman Patrick (43), have been living in LA for the past few years thanks to Cat’s gig as a presenter on the popular show ‘So You Think You Can Dance’.

The Birmingham native made the move Stateside in 2004 and has enjoyed a stratospheric rise to fame.

The pair, who were friends since 2002, married in September 2012 mere months after going public with their relationship.

The bubbly tv presenter once told Vegas magazine that their relationship thrives thanks to their busy work schedules:

"We have an absolutely lovely time when we're together, because we're like 'Oh, I have to go again in a minute.”

"All my friend are really jealous of it, weirdly. They're like, 'What I wouldn't give to have my husband get out of my hair sometimes for eight days!”
