Star of the stage and TV Twink was distraught last night after her palatial South Dublin home was burgled. It comes just 15 months after the panto star, also known as Adele King, had her beloved dog Teddy stolen only to be returned unharmed days later.

“I’m gutted, it’s the last straw,” she told The Sunday Independent.

“We are too exhausted, shocked, distressed here to speak, except to the gardai, which we have to,” she said from her house in Knocklyon.

The home, which Twink once shared with her ex-husband David Agnew, has been the subject of legal proceedings due to mortgage arrears.

Bank of Scotland placed a bid to have Stuart Mortgages take over repossession proceedings on the home but this was struck out by a judge last year.

Documents served to the panto star showed that €244,000 was owed to the bank in August 2013.

Earlier this month, Twink and her once estranged husband David, joined each other in the National Concert Hall to watch their daughter Chloe perform.

“Chloe was marvellous and the might went by in such a blur. It was amazing, a really incredible night and I was so proud.”
