DOTING dad Brian O'Driscoll was all smiles as he made his way out of the National Maternity Hospital in Dublin's Holles Street having visited his newborn son Billy O'Driscoll.

The rugby legend and his wife, actress Amy Huberman welcomed their son on Thursday afternoon.

The couple have been visited by close family members including Huberman's elder brother Mark who presented the mum-of-two with a bouquet of flowers, champagne and a teddy bear.

O'Driscoll's parents Frank and Geraldine and his sister Susan Bradley called by to say hello to the latest addition to the O'Driscoll clan. Huberman and O'Driscoll have received many messages of congratulations from friends and rugby fans who have dubbed the baby 'BOD II'.

Dublin coffee shop Raglan went so far as to offer Billy a complimentary cup of coffee next time he's in the neighbourhood.

When mum Huberman saw the advertisement on Twitter she responded; "He's off coffee til at least next week but if I send him in can he collect one for his Ma? Knackered."

Huberman and O'Driscoll, who celebrated their four-year wedding anniversary this July, already have a one-year-old daughter Sadie together. The actress previously said she was "excited for her" to have a sibling.
