The young supermodel is following in the footsteps of Eva Longoria and Cheryl Cole as the latest poster woman for the brand.

Gazelle-like model Karlie has dominated catwalks, editorials and billboards since she was discovered seven years ago.

In a recent interview with Style.com, the American model said she day dreamed in High School about working with the creme de la creme of commercial brands: L’Oréal, American Vogue, and Victoria’s Secret.

Yesterday, her aspirations became a reality, as beauty giant L’Oréal Paris confirmed they have enlisted the 22-year-old for their upcoming campaigns.

 “I’ve had the privilege of working for the past few years, and if I'm totally honest, toward this,” the statuesque 6’1” Missouri native told the website.

The health and fitness enthusiast - she brings along her nutritious ‘Karlie’s Cookies to all fashion shows and shoots- seems to have already embraced her role as a beauty ambassador:

“For my hair, there’s this one conditioner and shampoo that volumizes: L’Oréal Paris Volume Filler Thickening Shampoo and Conditioner,” she said.

“It’s so good,” she added. “My hair has taken a beating through the years, so it helps plump it up. Plus, it smells really good.”

We can almost hear sales of the shampoo and conditioner- of which Blake Lively is also a fan- increasing, thanks to Karlie’s endorsement.

Good call, L’Oréal.
