Victoria Beckham reveals the unlikely secret to keeping her skin spot free
Style icon Victoria Beckham has opened up about the unlikely method she uses for battling her problematic skin - fish.
And lots of it.
The Spice Girl turned fashion designer (42) suffered with acne over the years and said she now eats salmon every single day on the advice of her LA-based dermatologist Dr Harold Lancer.
"I've known him for years — he sorted my skin out," she told Net-A-Porter's magazine The Edit.
"I used to have really problematic skin and he said to me, 'You have to eat salmon every single day.' I said, 'Really, every day?' And he said, 'Yes; breakfast, lunch or dinner, you have to eat it every single day.'"
In the new interview, in which she discusses her debut makeup range with Estee Lauder, she recalls some of her fashion faux pas over the years.
"At some point I thought it was okay to wear a PVC cat suit. When I was pregnant with Romeo, I walked around Disneyland in Christian Louboutin heels, literally at nine months pregnant," she said.
And the mother-of-four is keen to spread the word on sharing her beauty secrets with the world.
"There are two types of women out there. There’s the kind who finds something nice and likes to keep it to herself and then there’s the other type, which is me, who wants to share."
