The average Irish woman spends a serious amount of money getting Christmas party ready
We always knew Irish women were into their beauty - but
The average Irish woman will spend €200 to €300 on average for their Christmas night out, spending the bulk on their hair, makeup, nails, eyebrows and shoes, according to a new survey by Great Lengths Ireland.
While 14% will spend a whopping €400 or more in total.
And that's just for one night.
91% of women will buy an entirely new outfit, while another 89% will spend over a week searching for the perfect ensemble for their big night out.
Most women will get their hair professionally done for the onslaught of parties, while 76% will get additional beauty treatments done professionally.
Managing Director of Great Lengths Carol Leo said of the findings: “The festive season is so important to the hair industry, especially Great Lengths. It’s our busiest time of the year!
"This is the biggest survey we’ve done to date and it’s so interesting to see the results from Irish women."
