With a climate as temperamental as ours, sometimes all we can depend on is a faux-glow from a bottle.

Until the sun decides to show its face once again, here are ten of our tried and tested favourites to help you achieve a radiant glow.

1. St Tropez Facial Luxe Oil, €30, available from March

To enhance your skin's appearance, fake it 'til you make it with the help of an innovative facial oil. St Tropez's soon-to-be released product is like liquid luminosity, but it remains light enough to leave pores unblocked.

2. Yves Saint Laurent Touche Éclat Radiant Touch, €31.50

This iconic product surely needs no introduction, seeing as one is sold approximately every ten seconds in the world. Eight hours of sleep is a luxury for most of us,  but this brightening pen contains radiance-boosting Luminocaptide Complex to help skin appear rested and refreshed. The new 2015 Collector Edition launches exclusively at Brown Thomas Dublin, Limerick, Cork and Galway on March 1st and nationwide from April 1st.

3. MAC Mineralize Skinfinish, €30

These powder highlighters add a luminous sheen to finish either night time or day time looks. Sweep over cheekbones, down your nose and across the cupids bow and brow bones for a photo-ready finish.

7. NUXE Multi-Purpose Dry Body Oil, €25.50

For a glossy sheen on your limbs, mix a few drops of this glistening oil in with your moisturiser or apply directly to legs, arms and décolletage. This golden oil can also be used on the face or hair, for a Midas touch.

These illuminating blushes manage to give a shimmer to the skin without appearing glittery or false. Apply using a contour brush or press on to areas of the face using a slightly dampened sponge.

9. Benefit High Beam, €24.75

This liquid highlighter is another cult favourite.  Apply a small amount of the product with your ring finger to cheekbones, temples, brow bone and down the centre of my nose to give an angelic glow to your skin.

10. Goji Berries, €4.95

Ok ok they're not a beauty product persé, but you simply won't glow unless you nourish from within. Goji berries are known to improve the appearance of your skin as they contain beta-carotene, vitamins A and E, as well as anti-ageing properties. Add them to smoothies, baked goods or oatmeal to reap the benefits.
