Make-up Muse: Cameron Diaz
Former model and actress Cameron Diaz favours a laid back approach to styling and can usually be found making the most of her tall and thin frame with her trademark skinny jeans and vest tops. This approach continues with her low key make-up bag as Cameron prefers to play up her natural looks with light clever touch ups rather than full blown glamour.
Blessed with that year-round Californian glow, Cameron's skin rarely needs much help. For the rest of us a good hydrating moisturiser followed by a light reflecting foundation similar to Chanel's Vitalumiere Aqua should give the effect. Apply only a light dusting of powder where needed. If you don't have Cameron's sun kissed skin, sweep a little bronzer like Guerlain's Terracotta Bronzer down the sides of the face and onto cheek bones, and add a little blush to the apples of the cheeks.
Cameron's look is more LA than A-list and she works those piercing blue eyes with sparkly shadows, simple liner and a touch of mascara.
To get the look, gently wash a light pink or cream shadow from the lashline right up to the browbone before gently working a Kohl liner along the upper and lower lids. For lashes, a lengthening mascara like L'Extrême by Lancome will add just the right amount of of drama. Sweep two coats onto the upper and lower lashes for a flawless finish.
Cameron's trademark smile is usually the focus of her look and baby pinks, corals and berry colours are her preferred palette. To begin, prep lips with a light pink pencil like Rimmel's Lasting Finish 1000 Kisses Lip Liner in Tiramisu before gently working a soft pink like Bobbi Brown's Creamy Lip Colour in Tiger Lilly along the lips with a brush.
Finally, Cameron's natural blonde tresses are at their best when they're tumbling around her shoulders. For that natural curl, wrap large sections of hair around a curling iron and spritz with some extra hold hair spray like Tresemme's Freeze hold hairspray. Perfectly wearable, we love Cameron's laid back sense of style!
