The former Britain and Ireland’s Next Top Model hopeful was crowned Miss Universe Ireland 2014 on Saturday night.
The Cork beauty was rejected by judges Elle Macpherson, Tyson Beckford, Whitney Port and Julien MacDonald on the televised model search in 2012, but now she has the world at her feet.
The 5’10” brunette had her first official day on the job today, as she appeared in a photocall for the National Lottery.
Dressed in red Hunter wellies and a waterproof mac, the 21-year-old is a natural in front of the camera thanks to her three years modelling experience on the books of both Assets and Andrea Roche agencies.
Lisa is currently a third year dentistry student at University College Cork and lives with her family on the Old Mallow Road.
The down-to-earth student beat off competition from 11 other beauty queens at the final of Miss Universe Ireland at the Beacon Hotel on Saturday night.
She was chosen by a panel including model boss Andrea Roche, Debbie McQuillan of Vanity X Makeup Academy, former Miss World Rosanna Davison and Miss Universe Ireland 2012 Adrienne Murphy.
Lisa will represent Ireland in the illustrious Miss Universe Pageant, organised by tycoon Donald Trump, in Doral, Miami on January 25th 2015.
Top Irish model Rozanna Purcell, who won the title of Miss Universe Ireland in 2010, caught the attention of Trump during the international contest and has enjoyed a successful career in the modelling and media industries in Ireland since her reign.
Since its inception in 1961, there has not been a Miss Universe Ireland.
