Kendall Jenner has the best response to people who criticised her acne at the Golden Globes
Kendall Jenner is proof that even supermodels aren't constantly campaign ready.
The 22-year-old suffers with acne, just like most other people her age, and she successfully turned some pretty vicious trolling into a message of empowerment with one little tweet. Jenner was one of the surprise guests at Sunday night's Golden Globes, but close-ups of her skin showed that she was experiencing an acne flare-up, a skin condition which she said constantly affects her confidence.
But she turned the criticism around, responding to one follower who praised her appearance at Sunday night's ceremony, saying, "Ok but @KendallJenner showing up and strutting her acne while looking like a gorgeous star is what every girl needs to understand."
Kendall replied: "Never let that shit stop you!"
It's become an overnight mantra to live by for her followers as the number of supporters vastly outweighs the initial critics.
Before mocking Kendall Jenner on her skin at the Golden Globes why not actually think about how having acne would make you feel. I have days where I won't even leave the house unless I have to, for her to attend an event like that is inspiring to me, it shouldn't be laughed at 😤— Bethanie Houghton (@bhoughtonxx) January 8, 2018

Whilst I have a lot of respect for Kendall Jenner for braving the red carpet with an acne flare up, it really shows the photoshopped & polished version of reality shoved down our throats by the media.— Millie (@MillieClinton) January 9, 2018
It really is no wonder so many people have insecurities & low self esteem. pic.twitter.com/YZPWLRcrHZ
