Has Miley Cyrus finally banished her cropped ‘do?

Despite looking every inch the diva at the recent 2013 FGI Night of Stars, Miley's slicked-back hair seemed to be in an awkward growing-out phase.

But, even though the 20-year-old is styling her long locks again for some ‘selfies’, the singer has yet to ditch the crop.

It was a selection of wigs that Cyrus modelled for her most-recent batch of ‘selfie’ snapshots.

But the locks weren’t to stay, the ‘Wrecking Ball’ singer was simply searching for a look for her Halloween costume.

Miley hit celebrity headlines last year when she chopped her famed locks for a shorter, punk ‘do.

She also said the hair decision has given her a new-found confidence.

“No one would have planned a haircut to change my life. I didn’t plan a haircut to change my life. I just cut my hair and then it really changed my life,” she said in July.

“There’s something about having no hair that it screams being confident. And I think especially because people like to put people in a box, I mean the names I’ve been called since I cut my hair.

“Everyone said I was a lesbian but I’m like, 'Being a lesbian isn’t a bad thing. So if you think I look like I’m a lesbian, I’m not offended. You can call me much worse’.”
