Alesha Dixon debuts a dramatic new hair colour... and it's giving us major spring envy
Alesha Dixon is the newest member inducted into the rainbow-hair hall of fame.
The singer and Britain's Got Talent judge sported a pink bob at the launch of the ITV talent show in London's Regent Street on Thursday night.
The 37-year-old turned heads as she walked the red carpet, showing off her new spring-friendly dye job.
It's a dramatic departure from Alesha's blonde and caramel hues but the rose tone perfectly complements her skin tone and chameleon sense of style.
The former Mis-Teeq singer follows in the footsteps of Australian actress Cate Blanchett, who was recently photographed rocking bubblegum pink hair.
The 46-year-old matched her hair to a pair of pastel aviators as she stepped out in London.
According to Cate's hairstylist, Nicola Clarke, the new look wasn't a spur-of-the-moment decision.
She told The Telegraph of the new look: “We've been talking about doing it for a while but wanted to get all the award seasons out of the way to have a play and a bit of fun. It will last a couple of weeks, depending on how many washes it has.”
