Gone are the days of having to slap on thick, chalky SPF that sits on top of your skin. Sports Hai Active Skinwear Protect SPF 50, above, £45 (approximately €51), was created by Irish woman Grace De Alvaro. It offers the highest level of protection for the face and hands, and is ultra-lightweight, non-sticky, comfortable on the skin, and nourishing, too.
It has a natural tint that's suitable for all skin types and all skin colours, so you'll look great, with a healthy glow, while doing what you love the most. The gender-neutral range has been winning awards non-stop since it started. See sportshai.com

Ooh la la!
Oh Mon Dieu! No 69, €55 for a box of 60 sticks, amazon.com, does what no other scent has done before - it transports you back to the wild, bohemian spirit of Rive Gauche in Paris, 1969 - not literally, of course, but in spirit.
This set of Japanese incense sticks is infused with the brand's seductive No 69 aroma.
With a heady base of leather and oakmoss, a heart of rose, jasmine and plum, with top notes of Cognac, caramel and coriander, the scent will fill your home for hours.
Look in the mirror and tell yourself how beautiful, kind, funny and intelligent you are. Saying nice things to, and about yourself, in front of a mirror really makes you believe them. It can help memory recall, boost confidence, and increase focus.
Retinol is all the rage
Whenever I'm asked for my top tip, I say everyone over 35 should use retinol, as now is the perfect time to peel in peace! I've been trialling the new No7 Advanced Retinol 1.5% Complex Night Concentrate, pictured left, since March, and it's the biz. The makers claim it reduces the appearance of fine lines, wrinkles and pigmentation. They say it kickstarts skin renewal from the first application, leaving your skin hydrated and healthy. Best of all, until June 30, it's reduced from €36 to €25.
Triona's top trends
Anyone else going 'hairwire' from not seeing their stylist for a few months? Well, I have some good news for you! While your hair might be looking more bedraggled by the day, it has probably never been healthier. Many of us have been working from home, with no in-person meetings, so we haven't been washing, blow-drying or colouring our hair as often as we normally would. Because of this, our scalps are producing and retaining more of our own natural oils (or sebum). This makes our hair softer, shinier, healthier and less brittle.
There's that, and of course the hundreds of euros we've saved by not visiting our favorite salon, which we can now use to buy the amazing new Airwrap Complete by Dyson, pictured above, €499, dyson.ie. OK, like all Dyson products, the cost will make your eyes water, but it's the equivalent of having a hair stylist in your own home - this gadget can style and dry at the same time. It includes six styler attachments for multiple hair types, and can curl, smooth, straighten and dry hair.
Then there's the new Magic Hair Brush by Lorraine Keane, above, €24.99, magichairbrush.ie. The clue is in the name; its flexible head has unique supersoft bristles that allow the brush to glide easily through tangles and knots without pulling. Mini loves it as a detangler; it literally glides through her hair, with zero hair damage.
