Vogue Williams denies airbrushing bikini selfie: 'I don't even know how to use Photoshop'
Vogue Williams has denied airbrushing a behind the scenes selfie, saying she doesn't even know how to use the software required to do so.
The model turned RTE presenter (30) has previously spoken of her love of the gym and admitted to working out six days a week and was keen to show off the fruits of her labour on Instagram.
But after posting a super slim photo of her herself behind the scenes of a "secret project", several of her 89,000 followers were quick to suggest she had digitally altered the picture to make her slimmer.
Writing in her Sunday World column, she said: "I posted a photo to my Instagram last week during a shoot I was doing. Now I know I shouldn't read comments on websites but I can't help myself sometimes.
"I also got some direct mails on Instagram telling me I didn't need to Photoshop myself, so I thought I would use this opportunity to set the record straight.
"I didn't Photoshop myself in this picture at all, I used filters, but I don't even know if it's possible to Photoshop a picture so small. And I don't know how to use Photoshop either."
The budding broadcaster said she realises her 'thigh gap' looks different than normal, but said it was likely to do with the angle she was standing at.
Vogue previously explained her love of the gym came as a form of therapy to help her battle anxiety.
"People always ask me about my workouts and how I can go to the gym so often. Nobody loves going to the gym but one of the main reasons I go is because it's great for your mind, not just your body," she explained.
"I get anxiety and I find the only thing that really helps is training."
Vogue, who recently split with husband of three years Brian McFadden, uses the gym as a way to escape from the stresses of everyday life and have a moment to herself.
"It's the only place where you are totally stuck in your own head for an hour.
