Irish style icon Celia Holman has revealed she questioned her decision to boycott botox.

The model agent (63) is a vocal advocate for ageing gracefully, but admitted she sometimes questions whether she did the right thing by boycotting Botox.

“Sometimes I wonder why I didn’t have Botox. I look at my face in the mirror and I think maybe I should have done it,” she told the Irish Daily Mail's You magazine.

“I’ve never had botox. I’ve nothing against it but I just decided early on that it wasn’t for me. I wouldn’t keep it up for one thing... I mean look at my nails. My nails fell off this morning and I’ve had no time to put them back on,” she joked.

Celia has been in the fashion business for more than 40 years and owns Ireland’s longest running model agency, Holman-Lee Agency.

Last year she revealed that her youthful appearance was simply down to a healthy skincare regime and good posture.

“Having a good routine going is important as you get older. Have good day cream and night cream and use creams that have an anti-ageing ingredient," she said.

“Every woman is using serums now; they’re using them day and night,” she told the Irish Independent.

The mother-of-two also explained that good posture is her key to her figure.

“I make my body more youthful-looking by standing straight and holding myself correctly," she explained.

“Sometimes older people are inclined to slouch a bit as they walk. It’s very important to be aware of this and to correct it. Posture is one of the greatest gifts you can give yourself," she said.
