An Irish blogger has revealed the online abuse she has received over her body and looks.

Rosie Connolly's successful blog Hearts, Heels and Handbags covers everything from beauty to being a mum to 15-month old Harry to fitness and food.

However, speaking to VIP magazine, the 24-year-old Dublin stylist and model said she has encountered body shaming online.

"The bigger following you have the more people you have giving you abuse. I’ve been told I’m too skinny and my makeup is awful," she told the mag.

"I can’t stand body shaming. I suppose the less you react, the quicker it goes away. I’m learning that the hard way.

"You’re still a person at the end of the day and you want to stick up for yourself."

Yet, rather than engage with trolls, Rosie said she simply blocks and deletes negative comments and reactions.
