Irish model Louise O'Reilly lands cover of international magazine which challenges body image issues
Top Irish model Louise O'Reilly is gracing the cover of SLiNK Magazine's 'Perfection Issue' which hopes to show that beauty and style doesn't stop at a size 8.
The Dublin beauty was selected as the newest cover star of the UK-based magazine.
An award winning fashion blogger, Louise has long been promoting the idea that beauty is not defined by the size on your clothes label.
She has now been selected to front the magazine's first interactive issue, which allows readers to scan and snap themselves onto the cover of the magazine, as well as putting themselves into the specially created doll box.
"The Perfection Issue is about reminding women that there isn't such thing as perfection, it is an unmeasurable idea. We spend our time striving to look like models, photoshopped images and the dolls of our childhood, but we wanted this issue to champion all our readers instead," Editor Rivkie Baum said.
SLiNK magazine aims to promote a healthy lifestyle, body confidence and body acceptance, without the guilt trip.
"We talk health and fitness NOT diets and bikini bodies, our food section is all about great ingredients, not calorie counting; it's all about moderation," the magazine's manifesto reads.
The magazine also carries an eclectic mix of high-street and high-end fashions that cater for women up to size 22.
The Perfection Issue can be bought on Slinkmagazine.com, and will be available across the UK, in Barnes & Noble across the USA, and in selected stores in Dubai, Australia and New Zealand.
