I've noticed a lot of open pores on my face, especially across my nose and T-zone in general. I've tried lots of pore minimising primers, but is there a product I can use for a lasting improvement? Clare, 32, Limerick
This is a question I get asked a lot. Open pores are a really common issue, present across lots of different skin types and all ages. Some primers are really good at temporarily blurring the appearance of enlarged pores, but the problem usually returns a few hours later.
Kiehl's Micro-Blur Skin Perfector priced €28 (out June 2nd) does make an instant difference thanks to light reflectors in the formula, but it will also reduce the appearance of pores over time when used daily.
You should see a visible improvement in skin texture in around four weeks due to the Lipo Hydroxy Acid (exfoliates) and lentil extract (tightens) which help to refine the appearance of skin texture, diminish the look of lines, and reduce the appearance of pores. Hurrah!
