Adriana Lima reveals beauty secrets - exercise, healthy eating and rosewater
Adriana Lima wishes she'd discovered the key to beauty earlier.
The Victoria's Secret Angel has a flawless appearance and thinks nothing of having her photo taken in revealing underwear.
But while she's mastered the art of looking good now, there are a few tips she wishes she could have given her 18-year-old self.
"I wish I'd know that exercise combined with healthy eating are the most important things when it comes to your looks and a radiant complexion," she told the German edition of Cosmopolitan. "Oh, and that rosewater helps make-up last longer!"
Adriana now makes working out part of her routine and tries to box every day. Even when she's travelling for work, she'll squeeze in a ten-minute session in her hotel room.
"It's great cardio training," she enthused.
Of course she also counts on the best products to keep her looking so flawless.
"I love face oils, Rodin is my favourite brand," she smiled. "If I'm feeling tired, facemasks I keep in my fridge help. I pamper my dry hair with intensive masques. But I get the best glow after my morning workout."
"Brazilian women are taught to take care of themselves. They start their beauty routine at a young age, which is the key to aging beautifully," she also told Harper's Bazaar.
"I drink at least one coconut water a day—it gives you that healthy, glowing skin. Juices with native fruits like acai and acerola are also amazing."
The model concluded, "If you're comfortable in your own skin, you will feel beautiful—and look beautiful to others, too."
