Can’t wait to take a break? Thanks to Brittany Ferries, two lucky readers are going to set sail to the picturesque French region of Brittany.

Steeped in history and naturally beautiful, Brittany is the perfect holiday destination to enjoy all year round. There is so much to do once you arrive, from island hopping around the Bay of Morlaix to visiting the standing stones of Morbihan, you won’t be short of exciting experiences.

Visit the island of Gavrinis, which is situated in the Gulf of Morbihan. Here you will find the Gavrinis tomb, a megalithic monument that is bursting with megalithic art. You can also explore the grounds of the 18 century castle that dominates the bay of Morbihan, Chateau of Kerlevenan. The grounds include a huge park, a chapel and a Chinese lodge and it makes for the perfect day trip in Brittany.

The Bay of Morlaix is a must for all visitors to the area, with its beautiful islands, rich wildlife and bright blue waters. There are many archaeological sites to visit, including Cairn of Barnenez, an ancient series of hilltop tombs that spectacularly overlook the bay.

For a relaxing day at sea, take a boat out around the tiny islands and enjoy the local wildlife and nature. If you’re lucky, you might get to see some seals playing in the water or even spot some endangered species.

For the foodies of the world, Brittany has many treats that will entice you. In particular, the region is known for its crêpes and seafood. Tuck in to some local oysters at one of the many oyster bars in the Gulf of Morbihan or why not start the day with a sweet and buttery crêpe in Atipik Bilig, located inside a stunning 16 century timbered house near the Bay of Morlaix.

Taking your own car gives you the freedom to explore and the space to bring everything you might need for your holiday. With two overnight crossings per week, France is now even more accessible. And with Brittany Ferries’ great value sail and stay holiday packages, you can choose from a wide range of accommodation to suit you and your vacation.

The winners of this fabulous prize will enjoy two nights at the four-star Hôtel Brittany and Spa located in the picturesque fishing port of Roscoff. As well as staying in a room with a gorgeous view, breakfast will also be included. The prize includes return sailings with your car from Cork to Roscoff and a well-appointed cabin onboard.
