Something very special is happening at the Guinness Storehouse on St Patrick’s Day

On St Patrick’s Day, people around the world celebrate with friends over a pint of Guinness. And for Guinness fans the world over, the ultimate bucket-list experience is to celebrate St Patrick’s Day in St James’s Gate, the home of the iconic stout.

The Guinness Storehouse is an iconic Irish landmark that certainly knows how to throw a good party.

This year, the inaugural Guinness Storehouse Homecoming promises to deliver a St Patrick’s Day experience like no other. Guinness is sold in 118 countries globally, and the Guinness Storehouse is calling for ambassadors to represent the four corners of the globe at an exclusive celebration at the home of Guinness on St Patrick’s Day.

To enter, they are asking people to tell them a unique story that connects them with Guinness. You can nominate a friend, too, if you know of a Guinness fan who would be a fantastic Ambassador.

The winning entrants will be invited to the Guinness Storehouse this St Patrick’s Day for a behind the scenes tour and incredible night-time festivities. To start with, the lucky winners and a friend will be taken on a guided tour that will offer exclusive access to the brewery.

They will witness first-hand how this iconic beverage is made in Dublin, in the very same location since 1759, and explore the hidden tunnels beneath the Guinness Storehouse. They will discover the train tracks that map the famous St. James’s Gate Brewery and sample Guinness and food pairings that have never been tasted beyond the walls of the Brewery. Winners will meet the expert brewers who produce this legendary drink and spend time with the Guinness Storehouse’s archivist who will take them on a journey through Guinness’s incredible history, from the brewery’s beginning to its global export story.

Afterwards, they will be welcomed into the Gravity Bar that sits atop the Guinness Storehouse. With its unparalleled, 360-degree view of Dublin city’s skyline, there is nowhere else in the city that offers such a spectacular view. It will provide the perfect backdrop as guests mingle, enjoy the live entertainment and, as the sun sinks, raise a glass to celebrate St Patrick’s Day in a truly global celebration at the home of Guinness.

The Guinness Storehouse Homecoming is a true coming together of people from across the world. Guinness has a long, celebrated history of global exporting. Since the early 1800s variants of Guinness have travelled around the globe and it is now sold in 118 countries. Guinness is also brewed in fifty different countries, with each nation putting their own stamp on their Guinness.

Whether you are in Dublin or Dakar, catching up with friends over a pint of Guinness is one of our favourite ways to come together. The Guinness Storehouse Homecoming will be a special celebration of all the countries and cultures that have embraced Guinness as their own. It will be the ultimate experience for Guinness fans and will certainly be a St Patrick’s Day celebration to remember.
