Enumerators sought for census 2016 – earn €2,400

The last census in Ireland took place four years ago on 10 April 2011 with a total head count of 4,588,252. Competition for positions as enumerators is always high and there’s a limit of 15,000 applications accepted over the next three days. However, if you do fit the bill then Census 2016 offers you a fantastic opportunity to get out and really get to know a certain area and contribute to this vital project. Census information is invaluable for planning for the future as well as getting a realistic picture of who we are in Ireland.

The information gleaned from what is a huge undertaking allows public bodies to make plans that are inclusive for everyone and helps us all to understand how our country is changing. Affecting politics, law, healthcare, education and the distribution of public funds the Census is a fundamental part of state governance that wholly benefits the citizens of Ireland and is depending on you to take part.
