Get working with IT Sligo

The Springboard+ 2015 programmes address current skills shortages

Springboard+ 2015 at IT Sligo is offering a large number of free places to jobseekers in Science, Technology and Engineering. The courses are tailored to meet key growth areas such as Biopharmaceutical Science, Information Technology, Quantity Surveying, Project Management and Polymer Technologies.

Online courses

IT Sligo is at the forefront of emerging breakthroughs in the delivery and assessment of online students. Our online programmes are designed to be very flexible. Physical attendance requirements are significantly reduced and primarily focused on laboratory work, thereby providing more time for study and reducing overall costs to the students. The remote access and delivery of programmes online, in the evening time and on a part-time basis greatly assists participants who have gained employment to continue with their programme. In addition all lectures are recorded and are available for the online learner at their convenience.

Get working

For all IT Sligo Springboard+ programmes, the participants will be enrolled on a mandatory and accredited 'Personal Effectiveness and Employability' programme and also a structured job readiness programme called 'Get Working'. These programmes are designed to improve the employability skills of all students with particular emphasis on CV and Interview preparation and on the job transferable skills to become an effective employee and team member.
