Wolves reject £500,000 Celtic bid for Kevin Doyle
Wolves have reportedly rejected a bid of aroud £500,000 for Republic of Ireland striker Kevin Doyle from Celtic with the League One side looking for a figure close to £2.5million.
Wolves are anxious to get the Wexford man's wages off their books but will hold out for a price they feel is more appropriate for an international striker.
Celtic came agonisingly close to a loan move to Parkhead in January but it fell through although Lennon has spoken repeatedly about rekindling his interest.
After selling Gary Hooper to Norwich for £5million at the end of last week, the Scottish champions are in the market for a striker and Doyle would appear to be top of their list.
There have also been reports today linking Keith Andrews with a move from Bolton Wanderers to fellow Championship side Blackpool
