Should Manchester United overcome their tricky quarter-final tie against Bayern Munich tonight, they will be placed in the draw for the semi-finals - and could even meet Chelsea in the final four.

When does it take place?

The draws for the semi-finals of the Champions League as well as the Europa League take place this Friday, 11 April in Nyon, Switzerland, starting at 11am BST.

The draws will be conducted by Uefa General Secretary Gianni Infantino and Uefa Europa League final ambassador Ciro Ferrara plus the ambassador for the Uefa Champions League final, the former Portuguese wing wizard, Luis Figo.

Are there any restrictions?

No. Like the quarter-finals, no sides are seeded and teams from the same national association can face each other, meaning Chelsea could face Manchester United and Real Madrid could meet Barcelona.

So, when will the Champions League semi-finals take place?

The first legs will on 22 and 23 April and the second legs will be played on 29 and 30 April.
