Jess Ziu withdrawal is another huge blow for Vera Pauw's Ireland side as they seek the play-off route to the World Cup.

Shelbourne defender Keeva Keenan has been added to the squad for their 2023 FIFA Women's World Cup qualifying play-off.

Keenan, who has three senior caps, has been brought in as defensive cover following an injury to Ziu that rules her out of the game on October 11.

Ziu picked up a knee injury whilst playing for her club, West Ham United, and will not report into international camp on Tuesday, October 4, alongside the other players.
