Who Ireland might get in euro 2012 finals draw

ONCE Ireland get through the formality of tomorrow's second leg, minds will turn to the Euro 2012 draw in Kiev on December 2.

The picture with seedings will only become clear after the conclusion of the other second legs, but the identity of the team in the other pots is almost clear.

UEFA's co-efficient is used to determine ranking and, whatever happens, Ireland will be unseeded in the fourth pot. Croatia, Portugal and the Czech Republic are fancied to come through the other ties and their results tomorrow evening could determine where they are seeded. But what's clear is that unless Bosnia cause a shock and eliminate Portugal and Turkey come from three goals down to eliminate Croatia, Ireland cannot draw France.

Pot 1 -- Poland, Ukraine (both automatically as hosts), Spain, Holland

Pot 2 -- Germany, Italy, England, Croatia* (3-0 up from first leg v Turkey)

Pot 3 -- Russia, Greece, Sweden, Denmark

Pot 4 -- Portugal/Bosnia* (0-0 first leg), France, Czech Republic* (2-0 up v Montenegro), Ireland* (4-0 up v Estonia)

•If Portugal defeat Bosnia tomorrow to qualify, they could replace Denmark as third seeds.

•If Croatia lose to Turkey tomorrow but still qualify on aggregate, they can drop back into Pot 3, with Russia moving into Pot 2.
