Wembley's 2013 return

WEMBLEY will host the Champions League final in 2013 and the UEFA Congress will take place in London the same year to mark the English FA's 150th anniversary.

The famous ground hosted the final previously in 1963, 1968, 1971, 1978, 1992 and, most recently, last month.

Before this year's final, UEFA president Michel Platini apologised for the high cost of tickets and said UEFA would consider introducing a cheaper category for families for future finals.

The cheapest tickets on general sale were priced at £150 plus a £26 administration fee, and the cheapest package for one adult and one child was available only for category two seats, costing £338.

The 2013 Europa League final will be held at the Amsterdam Arena, while the UEFA Super Cup, which for years has been held in Monaco, will be staged in Prague that year.
