WATCH - The moment opposing players came together to aid emergency services who came to help stricken goalkeeper Newsdesk Newsdesk

Footballers from Kentstown Rovers and Enfield Celtic showed that some things are much bigger than football last weekend.

Drama occurred when Enfield's replacement goalkeeper Paddy Haslam came on and produced an excellent save to deny Kentstown a goal.

As he tried to retrieve the ball in his area, he collided with one of the Kentstown centre-halves and suffered a head injury as the ball went into his net.

An ambulance was called but it got bogged down on the soggy pitch.

Both teams joined forces to extricate the ambulance so Haslam could be transported to hospital.
