WATCH - Ireland's Seanie Maguire sets up opener, scores himself and is forced off in 30 minutes
It's been a very eventful first half at Craven Cottage for Ireland's Seanie Maguire.
The former Cork City striker provided a goal, scored one himself and was substituted in just 30 minutes of action.
The in-form Irishman, making his 10th start for Preston, was the provider for their opener as he pulled the ball back for Jordan Hugill to finish after fine approach play on the left flank.
He doubled the Lilywhites advantage when he deflected Tom Barkhuizen's shot to the net in the 25th minute.
His afternoon ended five minutes later when he received a knock and was replaced by Josh Harrop.
Ireland boss Martin O'Neill will be hoping the injury isn't too serious as he plans for next month's World Cup play-offs.
Maguire has become a fan favourite at Deepdale as the clip below illustrates.
