WATCH - Gareth Bale taking keepie-uppies to a whole new level

He was a talisman for the Welsh national team at Euro 2016 this summer - and now Gareth Bale has confirmed he is also a bit of a trickster with a golf club in his hands.

Bale played a key role in Wales' run to their first ever major tournament semi-final in France earlier this month, with some of his holiday before he return to action with Real Madrid spent working with some of his commercial sponsors.

Promoting the Sprint 6 golf app, Bale mixed his football and golfing talents to produce a video that was lapped up by his 20 million followers on Instagram and another nine million on Twitter.

There may soon be a vacancy at the top of the world game with Lionel Messi and Cristiano Ronaldo's reign as the game's leaders edges towards a conclusion, with the publicity machine behind Bale eager to promote their man as they next superstar with advertising deals like this:
