Cardiff City defender Sol Bamba could well find himself in hot water on Saturday evening - and not just because he was sent for an early bath after lashing out at multiple people during the match against Ipswich.

Bamba was down injured, but pushed his own physio away before remonstrating both with his own players and manager and the fourth official, earning himself a red card.

The Bluebirds still emerged with a point from their trip after a 1-1 draw.

Although we haven't yet heard Cardiff manager Neil Warnock's reaction, he called Bamba the best defender in the Championship only last week - an assessment he may now revisit.

Watch the crazy incident below:

31-year-old Bamba began his nomadic career with Paris Saint-Germain, before taking in spells at Dunfermline, Hibernian, Leicester, Trabzonspor, Palermo and Leeds, before arriving at Cardiff this season.

Warnock only arrived at Cardiff in October and signed Bamba as a free agent within a week.

Speaking on Bamba's arrival, Warnock said: "I wouldn't want anyone else. I don't think there's anyone better.

"Like top players, he's got all the attributes. Fortunately for us, we've got him at the right time."

Bamba himself said at the time: "I'm excited to be here. I always want to work with the gaffer, so as soon as this chance arose I jumped at it."
