Chelsea goalkeeper Thibaut Courtois is usually trusted with keeping out penalties during a match, but last night the big Belgian proved that he is just as adept at finishing from 12 yards.

Chelsea beat PSG on penalties in the International Champions Cup pre-season tournament, and the decisive penalty was rifled into the top corner by Jose Mourinho’s shot-stopper.

Even Courtois himself would have struggled to keep this out.

What makes the Belgian’s penalty even more impressive is that according to Lee Parker of Chelsea TV, he hadn’t taken one in a game since he was 12.
