Video: Clinton Morrison proves he still has it with this clever chip

Clinton Morrison might be in the twilight of his career but the one-time Republic of Ireland international still knows where the goal is, as he has shown for his current club Exeter in the FA Cup First Round today.

Morrison, who is now 36, signed for the League Two side last season and committed to another, short-term, contract with the club at the start of this season.

The Grecians were featured on BT Sport today as they took on Didcot Town in the FA Cup First Round.

The Southern League Division One team kept the tie scoreless in the first half but this goal by Morrison put the non-league side on the back foot with this clever chip finish.

Since then Exeter have scored two more so Morrison will be almost certain to play in Round Two.

Incredibly, it is now over 10 years since Morrison's last goal for Ireland, in March 2005 against China in a friendly.

And it is nine years since he last played for the Boys in Green, claiming the 36th and - so far - final cap of his international career in the infamous 5-2 defeat to Cyprus.

Wonder if Martin O'Neill was watching BT today?
