United's record-breakers

Manchester United's 18 league goals -- eight from Wayne Rooney -- breaks the Premier League record for the most scored by a team in the first four games.

The most goals scored after four PL games are:

18 Manchester United (2011-12): Two trebles, one eight-goal haul.

17 Chelsea (2010-11): Didier Drogba scored four.

16 Arsenal (2004-05): Jose Antonio Reyes bagged four.

15 Newcastle (1994-95): Andy Cole hit four for Kevin Keegan's side.

14 Chelsea (1997-98): Gianluca Vialli scored four in a 6-0

win at newly-promoted Barnsley.
