Troy Parrott will make his senior debut for Tottenham Hotspur in their Carabao Cup clash at Colchester United tonight.

The 17-year-old Dubliner, who has starred for Stephen Kenny's Ireland U21 team of late, has been named as a starter for the first time in a competitive game by manager Mauricio Pochettino.

Striker Parrott is a product of Dublin schoolboy club Belvedere, and makes the step up following a host appearances for the Spurs youth and Under-23 teams that caught the eye of Pochettino.

Pochettino made 10 changes from the weekend's defeat at Leicester, with only goalkeeper Paulo Gazzaniga retaining his place in the starting XI.
